1944 Pvt John Yose, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs, Dora Yose, Wallins, was
reported by the War Dept, to be making normal improvement from wounds he
suffered in France with the army on July 27. Pvt Yose, a former newspaper
carrier, entered the army Sept 3, 1940. He has been overseas more than
three years. A brother, Pvt. Walter Caldwell is stationed with the army
at, Kearns, Utah.
